Niki Bettendorf
Niki Bettendorf (born December 20, 1936 in Beles ; † January 27, 2018 in Luxembourg) was a Luxembourg politician .
From 1982 to 2001 he was mayor of the municipality of Bartringen ( canton of Luxembourg ) and from 1990 to 2006 for the Democratic Party (DP) in the Luxembourg parliament , where he was one of three vice-presidents of parliament from 1999. He was also president of the board of directors of the Bartringer nursing home.
Bettendorf was married and had a daughter. He lived in beard rings. In addition to his professional and political career, Niki Bettendorf was also involved in basketball . He was a player, coach, president and honorary president at Sparta Bartringen. He was also vice-chairman of the national basketball federation .
