Niklas Bolten (born March 29, 1994 in Düsseldorf ) is a German football player who plays in the position of goalkeeper.
Career
Bolten came to Borussia Mönchengladbach from ASV Lank in 2003 . As an A-youth he traveled with the Bundesliga team from Gladbach to two away games in the 2012/13 UEFA Europa League . In the second half of the 2013/14 season he completed two games in the Regionalliga West for the second team of Borussia Mönchengladbach . For the 2015/16 season , Bolten moved to the second team at VfB Stuttgart .
On December 5, 2015, he made his professional debut with VfB II on the 19th matchday of the 2015/16 season in the 3rd professional league against SV Wehen Wiesbaden . With the Stuttgart Reserve, he was relegated from the 3rd division to the Regionalliga Südwest in 2016 . After the 2016/17 season , his contract was not extended and he was initially without a club. In January 2018 Bolten joined the northeast regional division FSV Union Fürstenwalde , which he left at the end of the season.
At the same time, he began studying psychology at the Distance University in Hagen . Bolten currently lives in Berlin.
