Nikola Hartmann

Nikola Hartmann , divorced Hartmann-Dünser (born June 5, 1975 in Götzis ), is a former Austrian wrestler . She is five-time world and European champion and twelve-time Austrian champion.

Career

Nikola Hartmann was a member of KSV Götzis and she was trained by her father, the wrestling Olympian Bruno Hartmann and Vitaliy Markotenko . Hartmann competed in freestyle wrestling for women in the 63 kg category. In 2004 she missed the qualification for the Olympic Games in Athens. In 2004 she was the only woman in the management team of the world wrestling association FILA .

In 2009, the trained secondary school teacher resigned from wrestling after the World Championships in Herning. Since 2001 she has been teaching sport, psychology and philosophy at the Bundesgymnasium Blumenstrasse in Bregenz.

For her services to the sport of wrestling , she was inducted into the FILA International Wrestling Hall of Fame in September 2010 . Nikola Hartmann now lives in Dornbirn .
