biography

Nils Allègre a Bormio 2019.

From November 2009 Allègre took part in FIS races and national championships, in March 2010 he won the French Super-G junior championship. In February 2011 he took part in the European Youth Olympic Festival in Liberec , where he finished fifth in the giant slalom. After he competed in the European Cup for the first time in December 2011 , his first victory in an FIS race followed one month later. At the Winter Universiade 2013 in Trentino , Allègre achieved good results with places 5 and 7 in Downhill and Super-G. In contrast, he only sporadically made it into the points in the European Cup for several years. Nevertheless, he made his World Cup debut on October 26, 2014 at the giant slalom in Sölden ; with 51st place, he clearly missed the second round.

In December 2015 Allègre finished in the top ten for the first time in a European Cup race, but the breakthrough was still a long time coming. He took his first World Cup point on November 30, 2017, finishing 30th in the Super-G at Lake Louise . He also began to make significant progress in the European Cup in winter 2017/18; On February 23, 2018, with third place in the Super-G in Sarntal, he achieved the first podium in this racing series, followed by another three weeks later. At the end of the season, he secured the French championship titles in the super-G and combined disciplines.

In the 2018/19 season, Allègre was finally able to assert himself in the World Cup. His best result this winter is 13th place in the Super-G at Beaver Creek on December 1, 2019. In the same discipline, he finished 14th at the 2019 World Championships in Åre .
