Nils Rohde (born February 5, 1987 in Kiel ) is a former German volleyball / beach volleyball player and today's golfer .

Career indoor volleyball

Nils Rohde has played in the youth teams of the FT Adler Kiel since 1997 and also in the Schleswig-Holstein youth team. In 2008 he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with FT Adler . He then played for one season in the regional league with local rivals TSV Kronshagen, before returning to FT Adler in 2009 (from 2010 VT Kiel ). In 2012 the entire second division team moved to the KMTV Eagles Kiel , where Rohde was active until 2015.

Career beach volleyball

Nils Rohde has been playing with various partners (including Sebastian Fuchs , Sebastian Dollinger and Max Lake ) at national beach volleyball tournaments since 2002 . From 2008 to 2010 he played with Stefan Köhler from Berlin , with whom he became student world champion in Alanya (Turkey) in 2010. In 2011 Nils Rohde played with Eugen Bakumovski and again with Sebastian Fuchs. In 2012, Philipp Arne Bergmann was his partner in the sand. At the side of Florian Huth , Nils Rohde became German university champion in 2012. The Bergmann / Rohde team won the championship title in Lower Saxony and finished seventh at the German Championships in 2012 in Timmendorfer Strand. In 2013 Nils Rohde played together with Florian Lüdike .

Career golf

Rohde has been playing golf at GC Lohersand since 2015 .

Private

Nils Rohde studied German and history in Kiel . His younger brother Lars was also a volleyball and beach volleyball player in Kiel.
