Philipp Arne Bergmann (born January 4, 1991 in Osnabrück ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Bergmann started his sporting career in 2005. Until 2009 he played for the Bundesliga club TSV Giesen / Hildesheim . After the club's relegation, the diagonal attacker went to VCB Tecklenburger Land with a double right to play . In 2010 he joined the VC Olympia Berlin junior team and played in the national indoor junior team. A year later, Bergmann, who had achieved ninth place at the U19 World Cup in 2009 as a beach volleyball player and also ninth place at the U21 World Championship in Halifax in 2011, switched to the Bundesliga club Chemie Volley Mitteldeutschland . In 2011 he took part in the German Smart Beach Tour for the first time. In both Leipzig and St. Peter-Ording, he came in ninth together with his partner Eugen Bakumovski . In 2012 he started with Nils Rohde from Kiel for TC Hameln. The Bergmann / Rohde team won the championship title in Lower Saxony and was seventh at the German championship in 2012 in Timmendorfer Strand. In the hall, Bergmann played in 2012/13 for third division club SV Lindow / Gransee , with whom he was promoted to the second division. In 2013 and 2014 Bergmann played with Malte Stiel as standard on the beach . In 2013 he switched to TV Hausen , his beach partner's club, which played in the Third League South . In 2014 Bergmann went to the second division club SV Fellbach . Yannick Harms has been his beach partner since 2015 , with whom he achieved his first victory on the national Smart Beach Tour in Binz . Bergmann / Harms finished ninth in the German championship . In 2017, Bergmann / Harms won the Beach Cup in Nuremberg and the Super Cups in Kühlungsborn and Binz. At the German championship they reached third place and then climbed to first place in the German rankings. In November Bergmann / Harms received the status of the "German national team" from the DVV . In March 2018 they won the 1-star tournament of the FIVB World Tour in Muscat . Several top ten placements on the FIVB World Tour and three victories on the national Techniker Beach Tour followed . Bergmann / Harms also took part in the European Championship in the Netherlands in 2018 and became German runner-up in Timmendorfer Strand .
