Nina Alexejewna Schuk , b. Bakuschewa ( Russian Нина Алексеевна Жук (Бакушева) ; English Nina Zhuk ; born July 6, 1934 in Savino , Yaroslavl Oblast , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Soviet figure skater who started in pair skating .

She competed in pair skating at the side of her husband Stanislaw Schuk . With him she became Soviet pair skating champion from 1957 to 1959 and 1961. In 1958 they became vice-European champions in Bratislava behind the Czechoslovaks Věra Suchánková and Zdeněk Doležal . It was the first medal for the Soviet Union at European Figure Skating Championships and the beginning of a long tradition of success for Soviet figure skaters, especially in pair skating. In 1959 and 1960 the Schuks were again runner-up in Europe, both times behind Marika Kilius and Hans-Jürgen Bäumler . At world championships they competed only twice, her best result was a fifth place in the World Cup 1960 . They finished their only Olympic Games in 1960 in Squaw Valley in sixth place.

Nina Schuk is the sister-in-law of the 1968 Olympic champions in pair skating , Tatjana Schuk .
