Vadim Wladimirowitsch Naumow ( Russian Вадим Владимирович Наумов ; born April 7, 1969 in Leningrad ) is a former Russian figure skater who started in pair skating .
Naumov's figure skating partner was Yevgenia Shishkova . They were trained by Lyudmila Velikova . In 1991 Naumow and Schischkowa became Soviet champions and contested their first world and European championships . At the European Championships, they immediately won the bronze medal, which they also won at the European Championships in 1992 , 1993 and 1995 . In 1994 they became vice European champions. In the period from 1991 to 1996 Naumow and Schischkowa took part in world championships . In 1993 they won the bronze medal and in 1995 the silver medal. They celebrated their greatest success in 1994 when they became world champions in Chiba . The couple played two Olympic Games . In 1992 in Albertville they finished fifth and in 1994 in Lillehammer they came fourth.
After Naumow and Schischkowa were not considered for the 1998 Olympic Games , they resigned from amateur sports and went to the professionals. There they became world champions in the same year.
Schischkowa and Naumow are married and have a son who was born in 2001. You work as a trainer in Simsbury , Connecticut .
