Ning Zetao ( Chinese 寧澤濤 / 宁泽涛 , Pinyin Nìng Zétāo ; born March 6, 1993 in Zhengzhou ) is a Chinese swimming athlete who specializes in short freestyle courses. In 2015 he was world champion in the 100 meters freestyle and was voted Chinese Sportsman of the Year 2015.
successes
At the 2015 World Swimming Championships in Kazan , Russia , Ning Zetao won the 100 m freestyle final in 47.84 s ahead of Australian Cameron McEvoy (47.95) and Argentine Federico Grabich (48.12). He won earlier medals at the 2014 Asian Games , four gold medals , over 50 and 100 m freestyle and with the 4 × 100-meter freestyle and 4 × 100-meter individual relay.
doping
In 2011, Ning Zetao was convicted of taking the calf fattening agent Clenbuterol and banned for one year.
