Poker career

Career

Java has been playing online since November 2007 under the nicknames Javatini ( PokerStars ) and Javatinii ( Full Tilt Poker , BlackChip , Lock Poker and WSOP.com) . His tournament earnings are over $ 450,000 . Since 2009 he has also been taking part in renowned live tournaments .

Java was the end of May 2010 for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas successful and died in a tournament variant No-Limit Hold'em in the money. In February 2014, he finished second in an LA Poker Classic tournament in Los Angeles , which was paid for around $ 115,000. A month later, Java won the main event of the WSOP circuit tournament in Los Angeles and received a prize of just under $ 230,000. At the 2014 WSOP , he reached the fifth day of the tournament in the main event , where he was eliminated in 256th place, worth almost $ 40,000. At the end of June 2015 , Java sat at his first WSOP final table and finished second in an event in Six Handed Pot Limit Omaha for around $ 270,000, which is his highest prize money to date. At the 2017 WSOP , Java won a tag team event together with fellow countryman Aditya Sushant , for which the two received a prize of more than 150,000 dollars and became the first Indian bracelet winners ever. A month later, Java secured another tournament victory in the online championship of the tournament series and received a prize of almost 240,000 dollars and his second bracelet . In early August 2017, he also prevailed at a deep stack event at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open in Hollywood , Florida , and received the grand prize of around $ 230,000.

Overall, Java has earned more than $ 2.5 million in live poker tournaments, making it the second most successful Indian poker player after Vivek Rajkumar .
