The Nivnička , also called Bystřička on the upper reaches , is a left tributary of the Olšava in the Czech Republic .

geography

The Nivnička rises on the western slope of the Vysoký vrch ( 692  m ) below the Troják holiday resort in the White Carpathians . It flows first to the northwest through Bystřice pod Lopeníkem , from where it runs its course to the west. The villages Podhorský Mlýn, Suchá Loz , Volenov, Čupák and Nivnice lie along the stream . There the Nivnička turns north and flows past Nivnický Dvůr. It then flows into the Olšava opposite Uherský Brod .

The Nivnička has a length of 20.2 km, its catchment area is 82.3 km².

Above Suchá Loz, the Nivnička is dammed in the Ordějov reservoir.
