Nobuatsu Aoki ( Japanese 青木 宣 篤 , Aoki Nobuatsu ; born August 31, 1971 in Shibukawa , Gunma Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese motorcycle racer and rode in the MotoGP class of the motorcycle world championship until 2004 .

Aoki comes from a racing family. His brothers Haruchika and Takuma were also active in the World Cup.

Nobuatsu Aoki's career has stagnated since his third place in the 500cc World Cup in 1997 . With the idiosyncratic Proton, the Japanese found himself losing out in the MotoGP class in 2003 and 2004 . In 2005 he was a test driver at Suzuki and entered some races with a wildcard .
