geography

source

The karst spring of the Noiraigue

The stream rises from the Source de la Noiraigue (Eng. Source of the Noiraigue ) on the northern outskirts of Noiraigue . The spring water of this karst spring comes from the Bied river seeping into the high valley of Les Ponts-de-Martel .

course

The Noiraigue runs from its source in a southerly direction, takes in water from two other small karst springs after about 150 meters in the village from the left and flows into the Areuse after crossing under a railway line.
