Noitzsch is a district of the municipality of Zschepplin in the district of North Saxony in Saxony .
geography
Noitzsch is located between the cities of Eilenburg and Bad Düben on the district road 7411 . This connects the place with the federal highways 2 and 107 . There is also a local connection to Krippehna . A small tributary of the Leine flows through the place . The area north of Noitzsch is forested.
history
Noitzsch belonged to the Electoral Saxon or Royal Saxon Office of Eilenburg until 1815 . By the resolutions of the Congress of Vienna , the place came to Prussia. In 1816 he was assigned to the Delitzsch district in the Merseburg administrative district of the province of Saxony , to which he belonged until 1952.
Noitzsch belonged to Zschepplin as early as the 19th century and is still part of the municipality today. Noitzsch was pastured to Hohenprießnitz in 1529, to Zschepplin in the 19th century and again to the parish of Hohenprießnitz between 1925 and 2001.
In the course of the second district reform in the GDR in 1952, Noitzsch was connected as a district of Zschepplin to the Eilenburg district in the Leipzig district , which was added to the Delitzsch district in 1994 .
