The current appearance of the Sankt Matthäus church in Naundorf dates from 1867. There was a previous building about which little is known. According to a drawing, this resembled the Behlitz church in appearance . The church has three bells that come from the previous building, two of which were melted down in the two world wars, but later re-cast, as well as an organ made by the Delitzsch organ builder Offenhauer.
