Nolina pumila is a species of the genus Nolina in the asparagus family (Asparagaceae). An English common name is "Rose's Beargrass".

Nolina pumila grows without a trunk. The variable leaves are 20 to 30 cm long. The leaf margins are serrated.
The short branched inflorescence becomes 0.5 to 1 m long. The capsule fruits are somewhat pressed to woody when ripe. The seeds are spherical.

Distribution and systematics
Nolina pumila is common in Mexico in the states of Zacatecas and Coahuila in a limited area at altitudes of 1000 to 1200 m. It is associated with various types of yucca and cacti .
The first description was in 1906 by Joseph Nelson Rose .
It is similar to Nolina parryi and Nolina bigelovii , the representatives of the Arborescentes section that occur in the north and northwest.
