The Nonnenbach is a seven kilometer long right tributary of the Ahr in the area of ​​the municipality of Blankenheim in the district of Euskirchen ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

The source of the Nonnenbach is in the forest about 2 km east of Schmidtheim , on the other side of the B 51 and not far from gravel pits that are already partially filled with groundwater. It flows past the place of the same name and flows into the Ahr a good 2 km south of Blankenheim. In addition to the Seidenbach and the Günzelbach, it is also fed by numerous soaps during its short run .
