Norbert Eberlein (* 1956 in Hamburg ) is a German screenwriter and writer .

Life

Norbert Eberlein grew up in a middle-class family. He studied German and financed the writing of his first novel by writing magazine novels. His only novel Seidenmatt to date was published by Haffmans Verlag in 1990 . It was received favorably by both critics and audiences. He has been working in television since 1991. In 1994 his first screenplay for an episode of the television series Großstadtrevier was made into a film. By 2011, 57 other film scripts followed. In 2008, he won both the special award and the audience award of the German TV crime award for his screenplay for the crime thriller Mein Mörder geht zurück .
