My killer comes back is a 2007 by director Andreas Senn for the ZDF staged thriller - drama .

action

The student Tanja Siebert falls in love with Marcus Steiner, unsuspecting that he is the boss of a Berlin criminal gang. After you realize over time what he does for a living, she is already financially and emotionally dependent on him. When Tanja finally wants to break up, Steiner has her mistreated and executed with three shots. As if by a miracle, Tanja survived the attack and made her knowledge available to the State Criminal Police Office , which had been observing the gang for a long time. Because of her testimony in court, Marcus Steiner is sentenced to twelve years in prison. Tanja is accepted into the witness protection program and given a new identity and biography. In order to avoid any contact with her previous life, the LKA found her a job on a farm far away from Berlin.

Eight years later, Vera Grote, Tanja Siebert's new name, is happily married to Mischa Grote and is the mother of son Leo. Farmer Hermann Stuhr is a computer freak and makes Vera aware that everyone can be found on the Internet . At home, Vera enters her real name on the Internet and finds a search ad for Tanja Siebert, which promises a "surefire" bonus of 50,000 euros for hints. She learns from the newspaper that Marcus Steiner was released from prison after serving two-thirds of his sentence. Vera, who only talks about her true past to her psychologist , becomes increasingly insecure. When, in front of the practice of her psychologist, a patient who looked deceptively similar to her, who had swapped appointments with her, was murdered, it was for Vera. She only sees treason and greed for money around her: husband Mischa, Vera's best friends Romy and Arno, farmer Stuhr and even a photographer on the street - all of them are under suspicion. Vera is on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

Vera is visibly relieved after the murder is cleared up as a relationship act before the practice. However, when Mischa pointed out that he had seen Vera briefly and clearly on television during a report on this crime, Vera was driven to despair. She reveals her true identity to Mischa, but he doesn't take her story seriously. He gives Vera sedative drops and drives away with her. During a short stop in the forest, the desperate Vera knocks down Mischa and flees back home by car. Here you are finally lurking a killer: it is the photographer who took pictures of the new building across the street. Before he can pull the trigger, he is killed with a statue by Misha, who has now arrived. He is shocked to find that everything Vera had confessed to him is true.

Vera wants to call on the police. The consequence would be that the LKA would give her a new identity and would have to part with Mischa and Leo. Misha categorically rejects this: he cannot live without Vera. He asks her to trust him. Days later, a detective conducts surveys in the settlement for a missing person, the photographer who was killed by Misha. The missing person and his car are said to have been seen in this settlement. Romy, Arno, Mischa, Vera, even the farmer Stuhr and his servant answer no questions about the missing person. In cinematic flashbacks, the viewer learns that everyone played a part in the removal of the killer's corpse. Vera tells her psychologist that although she has not lost her fear of Steiner, she has found something that is stronger.

criticism

"Incredibly constructed (television) psychological thriller, in which at most Katharina Wackernagel is convincing: She impressively adopts the role of a woman who threatens to break in the dilemma between fear and trust."
