Norbert Wokart (born August 30, 1941 in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse ) is a German philosopher and author .

biography

Wokart attended the old language grammar school in his hometown and after graduating from high school , studied philosophy , German and Catholic theology in Marburg , Vienna , Würzburg and Tübingen . He received his doctorate in 1969 from Karl Ulmer in Tübingen with a thesis on the French philosopher Merleau-Ponty . From 1970 to 1977 he worked at the University of Education in Lörrach and from 1979 at a research institute at the University of Tübingen, including stays in Basel and Zurich , before setting up as a freelance author in Tübingen in 1985.
