Norbert Zeller

Norbert Zeller (born August 21, 1950 in Friedrichshafen ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Friedrichshafen in 1970, Norbert Zeller studied special education at the Weingarten and Reutlingen universities of education . He then worked as a special school teacher in Friedrichshafen.

Until February 2015, Zeller was head of the community school, school models, inclusion department at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport in Baden-Württemberg .

Zeller is married and has two children.

In 1979 Zeller was elected to the district council of the Lake Constance district. Since 2004 he has also been chairman of the SPD parliamentary group there. From 1980 to 1994 he was on the Friedrichshafen municipal council . He is also a member of the association assembly of the Bodensee-Oberschwaben region and chairman of the SPD parliamentary group. In 1988 Zeller was elected to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg . There he represented constituency 67 (Lake Constance) and was chairman of the committee for schools, youth and sport. In the 2011 state elections , he lost his second mandate and left the state parliament at the end of the legislative period.
