Carré North Station

On March 12, 2009, the Berlin Senator for Urban Development Ingeborg Junge-Reyer solemnly granted the client the building permit for the construction of the Carré Nordbahnhof in the immediate vicinity of the Carré Stettiner at the MIPIM real estate trade fair in Cannes . After a two-year construction period, this building with 9,600 m² of floor space and 37,000 m² of office space was opened on May 9, 2011 in the presence of Federal Transport Minister Peter Ramsauer and the chairman of Deutsche Bahn Rüdiger Grube . It offers space for 1,300 jobs. Architects were again Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky and Hemprich Tophof. The building was constructed by a group of investors from Frankonia Eurobau, Nettetal and LVM Versicherung and sold to the French AEW in 2010 for 119 million euros. It is the first LEED Gold Standard certified building in Berlin.

use

Deutsche Bahn is the tenant of the building. It houses the locations of DB Zeitarbeit , DB Services GmbH, DB Netz AG and the central accounting (Germany) of Deutsche Bahn AG. The historical archive of the DB is also housed here. This replaced a total of seven other locations in Berlin. Thus, the locations of DB in Berlin are concentrated on the location at the north station, as well as the railway tower at Potsdamer Platz and the stirrups of the main station .
