The Stettiner Carré is a seven-story building complex in Berlin-Mitte that was built on the site of the former Szczecin suburban train station . It is located to the west of the park on the north station, which is also newly created on this site .

Szczecin Carré

The laying of the foundation stone for the Stettiner Carré planned by the architects RKW Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky took place on September 18, 2003, after work on the building had been going on since spring 2003. This was also laid by Berlin's Governing Mayor Klaus Wowereit . The construction costs were estimated at 160 million euros. They were raised by a group of investors from ercon Immobilien and Rendata Real Estate. They sold the property to Deutsche Bank Real Estate Investment for the same amount . The topping-out ceremony was celebrated in April 2004 after almost a year of construction. The entire building covers an area of 26,000 m². With 61,000 m² of office space, it offers space for 2,400 workplaces. The office building was completed in January 2005. It is lined up directly behind the listed station building of the Szczecin suburban train station .
