Norddorf is a district of the city of Erwitte in the Soest district in North Rhine-Westphalia . Until 1974, Norddorf was a municipality in what was then the Lippstadt district .

Norddorf is an agricultural hamlet in the northwest of the town of Erwitte and is located on a flat knoll in the middle of extensive arable land.

history

The first mention of Norddorf comes from the year 1200. Since the 19th century, Norddorf was a rural community in the Anröchte district of Lippstadt. On January 1, 1975, Norddorf was incorporated into the town of Erwitte by the Münster / Hamm Act , which was assigned to the enlarged Soest district.
