Norman Bröckl (born August 22, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German canoeist .

The canoe racer of the Pro Sport Berlin 24 was world champion in the four-man kayak over 1000 m and second over 200 m, as well as third at the European championships over 200 m. In the following year he reached fourth place in the four-man kayak at the world championships and third place over 1000 m at the European championships. At the Canoe Racing World Championships 2007 in Duisburg he was again world champion foursome over 1000 m. In 2008 he won the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing together with Lutz Altepost , Torsten Eckbrett and Björn Goldschmidt .

For this, he and his team received the Silver Laurel Leaf from Federal President Köhler.

In 2010, Bröckl won gold in a four-person kayak with Marcus Groß , Tim Wieskötter and Hendrik Bertz at the 2010 European Canoeing Championships in Trasona . He was able to build on this success together with Robert Gleinert , Max Hoff and Paul Mittelstedt at the canoe racing world championships in 2011 by winning the gold medal in a four-person kayak.

Bröckl was named Berlin's junior athlete of the year in 2003. He studied geography and sport as a teacher at the Humboldt University in Berlin . In spring / summer 2019 he successfully completed his legal clerkship in Berlin with the 2nd state examination.
