The 2010/11 season was the first season of the North Sea Cup , the joint ice hockey professional league of Belgium and the Netherlands . The first edition of the competition was won by HYS The Hague .

The clubs involved play a double round. The first two of the table qualified for the final of the North Sea Cup, with the table first having home rights.

For the Dutch participants, the North Sea Cup was the main round of the Eredivisie . The two Belgian representatives were involved in the Belgian Cup before and during the North Sea Cup, and after the North Sea Cup they played the Belgian champions .
