Emergency Call California / Episode List
This episode list contains all episodes of the American hospital series Emergency Call California (original title: Emergency!, Later also: Emergency One ). The series broadcast by NBC was produced from 1972 to 1979 a total of 123 episodes in six seasons and six television films, each two hours in length. It was first broadcast from January 15, 1972 to July 3, 1979.
The series only came to Germany in the 1990s through RTL Television . From February 1 to June 11, 1993, a total of 89 episodes up to season 5 were shown Monday to Friday at 2:10 p.m. RTL broadcast the pilot film in two parts at the end of the series. The original 50-minute episodes were shortened to 45 minutes for broadcast on RTL.
The pilot first aired on NBC on January 15, 1972. The two-hour film Emergency! was later also broadcast under the title The Wedsworth-Townsend Act in two parts within the fifth season on December 27, 1975 and January 3, 1976 on NBC. In some episodes of the series, the lead actors Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe also worked as directors. The episode Richter Six was produced during the second season, but has not been broadcast to this day.
