Bruce Bilson
Bruce Bilson (born May 19, 1928 in New York City ) is an American film director , producer and screenwriter .
Bilson's family is still in show business to this day. He is the father of the director Danny Bilson and grandfather of at OC participating Rachel Bilson . He is the son of George and Hattie Bilson .
Bilson began his work as an assistant director , including the Andy Griffith Show , before he briefly wrote the scripts for The Doris Day Show .
It was not until 1959 that Bilson began directing various television series , a job he continues to this day.

Bilson won an Emmy in 1968 for his work on the Maxwell Smart, Private Eye episode of the Mini-Max television series .
