The Nottenbach is a one kilometer long, left side stream of the Neckar tributary Erms in Bad Urach in the Reutlingen district in Baden-Württemberg .
geography
The Nottenbach rises at about 690 m above sea level. NHN in the short, blade - like , eastward running Nottental south-below the serpentines of the Hannersteige , over which the K 6708 climbs from the southern edge of Urach's settlement out of the Ermstal the plateau of the Alb towards Bleichstetten. After just 300 meters, it reaches the corridor boundary and a little later, opposite a factory building, the left edge of the Erms-Aue, where it meets a half-kilometer-long left side branch of the Erms , which previously had an inflow from valley springs. Here the brook bends to the left in the direction of the river valley and flows about 300 m later from the left and at about 475 m above sea level. NHN in the Erms .
Reburial
Due to an expansion of the pump manufacturer Uraca, it is to be relocated by 100 m in 2012. It is also being renatured.
