The Reutlinger General-Anzeiger (locally abbreviated as "GEA") is the only independent daily newspaper in the Neckar-Alb region with a full editorial team . GEA is mainly distributed by subscription and is the most regularly consumed daily newspaper in the Reutlingen district .

It has been printed in Rhenish format at the Neckar-Alb printing center in Reutlingen - Betzingen since 2004 .

The publisher is Reutlinger Generalanzeiger Verlags-GmbH & Co KG, which is wholly owned by the Eugen Lachenmann GmbH & Co KG bookstore in Reutlingen, in which four members of the Lehari family each hold 24.9% of the capital and the Verlag GmbH itself 0 , 2%, The publisher has a 1.47% stake in Südwestdeutsche Medienholding (SWMH) .

history
