Now, Now , formerly Now, Now Every Children is an indie / alternative band from Minneapolis , Minnesota .
Career
Cacie Dalager (vocals, guitar) and Brad Hale (drums) know each other from their high school marching band and have been making music together since 2006.
In 2007, the two recorded their first EP entitled Not One, But Two under the US independent label Afternoon Records , followed a short time later by the second EP In The City . This led to the band being named Band of the Month by the music portal Paramorefans.com , which brought the duo first notoriety.
Now, Now Every Children - although the two band members were still in high school - have already toured the north and west of the United States, supporting Mates of State and The Rosebuds . In 2009 she released her first studio album, which includes three newly recorded songs from the two previous EPs, and in the same year the band was completed by Jess Abbott (guitar, vocals) to form a trio. In Germany, the CD was released under the Wallpaper Records label. In December 2009 Now, Now Every Children played with the bands Paper Route and You Me at Six as opening act for the band Paramore .
In 2010 they left their label Afternoon Records and released their EP "Neighbors", which was limited to 140 copies, but now under the abbreviated name "Now, Now".
In 2012 the second studio album "Threads" followed on Trans Records, the label of Death Cab for Cutie 's guitarist and producer Chris Walla. The band then played support shows for The Naked and Famous and fun.
After a long break, the band released the music videos for "SGL", "Yours" and "AZ" on their YouTube channel in 2017 . These songs were later featured on their album "Saved", which was released in 2018. The singer and guitarist Jess Abott had previously left the band due to differences of opinion and started her own project Tancred .
