Now and Forever (dt .: Now and Forever ) is the debut album of the Estonian pop-rock - singer triinu kivilaan that as a member of Vanilla Ninja became known. Her only long player was released on August 29, 2008.

background
Triinu Kivilaan joined Vanilla Ninja in June 2004 to replace front woman Maarja Kivi . Kivilaan was brought into the band because of their resemblance to Kivi. She did not take over the position of the front woman here. In January 2006 she left the group. The reasons mentioned were quarrels and Triinu's different musical tastes. From 2006 to 2007 she withdrew into her private life after having competed with Lenna Kuurmaa , Piret Järvis and Katrin Siska for Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kiev . With the title Cool Vibes composed by David Brandes , the Estonian band took eighth place. She had her first musical steps into the music industry with the single When the Indians Cry in August 2004 with Vanilla Ninja. During her solo career, she performed as Triinu Kivilaan or Triinu .

Fabian König and Ollie Stan (03 | Studio) wrote and composed several songs for Triinu. The manager Rainer Moslener was there to help her from May 2008 to May 2009. Moslener was also the manager of No Angels , Tokio Hotel and Christina Stürmer .

The song was available for download on March 14, 2008. The physical single was released on March 28th and contains three different versions of the title and the bonus track All the Different Girls .
Falling
Fallen was released on August 8, 2008 as a single and as a download. Four different versions of the title, including the instrumental version and the music video, are on the CD. The single entered the German charts at number 88 on August 22nd and was at number 85 the following week. On August 29th, the piece fell off the charts. The music video for the song was shot in one day in Berlin and had a low budget. Many public outdoor locations were used. There were two main locations. The magazine Drehort-tv recreated the video shoot in Berlin. Kivilaan stood in front of the Modersohn Bridge in Berlin-Friedrichshain for the clip . The second part of the video was shot in Berlin-Stralau .
Be with you
Kivilaan's third single from the album was released on November 14, 2008 as a download and a physical single. In addition to three versions of Be with You , a feel mix of the track Rescue Me is included. In addition, on December 5, 2008, the Be-with-You-Trancelectro-Mixx was offered as a download. This title has a playing time of over five minutes.
Is It Me?
Is It Me? was offered for download on May 8, 2009 and was released as a promo single.

reception
The album Now and Forever was rated by laut.de as “consumer pop of the friendlier kind” . All of the songs on the long player also spread a “pensive, melancholy mood” . Kivilaan's voice should be “mature, always accurate, and with a clear intonation” . According to Artur Schulz , the best piece on the CD is Crucified , because this title convinces "with its powerful drums and a beguiling hookline."
