Nuclear is a Chilean thrash metal band from Arica that was founded in 1995 under the name Escoria .

history

The band was founded in 1995 under the name Escoria. The first demo recording was released in 1997. After the band was disbanded in 2001, the members formed the band Nuclear in 2003. The band consisted of guitarists Sebastián Puente and Francisco Haussmann and drummer Punto Sudy. These found additional members and formed a stable cast.

In the following years the first two albums were released with Heaven Denied (2006) and 10 Broken Codes (2008). The third album Jehovirus was mastered in the UK by Russ Russell ( Napalm Death , Dimmu Borgir , Evile ) and released in 2010. Since its inception, the band has shared the stage with other bands such as Testament , Forbidden , Voivod , Grave , Hirax , 1349 , Joey Belladonna , Destruction and Brujeria .

style

The band plays classic Thrash Metal, with the playing of the electric guitar being particularly precise and the singing and playing of the drums being described as particularly aggressive. The band's works are compared to other bands in the genre such as Exodus and Kreator .
