Hungarian national floorball team

The Hungarian national floorball team represents Hungary in international games and tournaments in the sport of floorball (also known as floorball).

In 1989 the Hungarian floorball association was founded with Magyar Floorball Szakszövetség . In 1992 the association was accepted into the International Floorball Federation . Hungary took part in the first European championship in 1994 and in the first world championship in 1996. In 1996, the team achieved tenth place, the best placement at a world championship to date. At the two previous European championships in 1994 and 1995, Hungary finished eighth.
