Nyssa is a city in Malheur County in the US state of Oregon .

Nyssa is located on the Snake River in northern Malheur County on the Idaho border , about 25 kilometers southeast of County Seat Vale , at an altitude of 664 meters. US Highway 20 and US Highway 26 , which cross the river over the Nyssa Bridge , run straight through the city .
The city has an area of 4.01 km², excluding land.
Demographics
According to the United States Census 2010 , Nyssa had 3267 inhabitants, 1637 men and 1630 women. 1228 residents were under 20 years old, 427 were 65 or older.
