Oğuz Sabankay (born August 7, 1987 in Akhisar ) is a football player from Eyupspor .
Career
society
Sabankay began club football in the youth of Akhisar Belediyespor and moved here as a professional player in the youth of Galatasaray Istanbul . Sabankay was considered one of the greatest young hopes in the left midfield. After he came only to a brief appearance against Kayserispor during his time at Galatasaray , in which he was substituted on in the 85th minute, he was loaned out to Vestel Manisaspor in January 2007 to collect match practice there. However, he has only been substituted on three times for Manisaspor.
Until the summer of 2011 Sabankay played in sequence as loan players at Eskişehirspor , Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor and Kartalspor .
After his contract with Galatasaray expired, he left this club and agreed with the third division club Beypazarı Şekerspor . After just one season, his move to the second division Bucaspor was announced. For the second half of 2013/14 he left this club and instead hired the Istanbul second division club Eyüpspor .
National team
From the Turkish U-16 national team, Sabankay went through almost all age groups of the Turkish youth national teams. With the Turkish U-17 national team , he took part in the U-17 European Football Championship in 2004 , but retired with his team in the group stage from the tournament.
