The Oberbek is a flowing body of water in the Mecklenburg Lake District in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It connects the Vilzsee with the Rätzsee and belongs to the extensive river and lake system of the Upper Havel .
The Oberbek flows from the extreme eastern part of the Vilzsee near Fleeth and flows into the southern part of the Rätzsee. It can be used without restrictions up to the Fleether Mühle . A weir interrupts navigability in the area of the Fleether Mühle . A few meters north of the Fleether Mühle, the Oberbek in the direction of Rätzsee can be used again, but is closed to motorized traffic.
