The Oberbergbach is a 4.5 km long left tributary of the Liebochbach in Styria . It rises northeast of the main town of Hitzendorf , northeast of the Rotte Neusteinberg-Premesberg , west of the Rotte Steinberg and the municipal boundary to Thal and flows relatively straight in the upper course and in the lower course first in a flat left curve before it becomes relatively straight again in the local area of Hitzendorf , overall to the southwest. A little west of the town of Hitzendorf, it flows a few hundred meters north of the L306 into the Liebochbach, which then continues flowing. On its course, the Oberbergbach flows through two small ponds and receives two unnamed streams from both the left and right.
