Oberdorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Rennweg am Katschberg municipality in the Spittal an der Drau district in Carinthia .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 253 building areas with 39,117 m² and 61 gardens on 12,105 m² in the cadastral municipality of Oberdorf , in 1989/1990 there were 245 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 574 and in 2009/2010 there were 310 buildings on 573 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is initially shaped by forestry. 315 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 1,186 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 317 hectares and 1,113 hectares were designated as forest areas. At the end of 2018, 241 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 1248 hectares. The average soil climate number of Oberdorf is 13.4 (as of 2010).
