Location in Kufstein

Sparchen is a district of Kufstein and is located in the north of the municipality. It is the largest district in terms of area and stretches from the Inn to the Kaisertal , where the Kaiserbach forms the city and district boundaries. The district can be divided into

  • Upper Sparchen
  • Lower Sparchen
  • Peace settlement
  • South Tyrolean settlement
  • Waldeck
  • Rudolfi Quarter (Sternfeld)

In Sparchen there are facilities such as kindergartens, a primary school, the Kaiserlift and the Kufstein administrative center as well as the arms manufacturer Voere .

Due to the size of Sparchen, the district has all possible types of house construction, but the large South Tyrolean settlement was laid out during the Second World War , as can also be found in other cities in Tyrol. There are many terraced and high-rise buildings in the Lower Sparchen. The North Business Park, with its very good transport links, should primarily attract retailers in Sparchen.

The town of Kufstein had long wanted to incorporate the Ebbs district of Eichelwang to the north of the Kaiserbach , but this has not yet been implemented. However, Eichelwang enjoys all municipal facilities such as electricity and water supply, city buses, cable TV, Kufstein's postcode and telephone area code and has long since grown together with Sparchen.

A trip to the Kaisertal or a visit to the Friedrich List monument is recommended as leisure activities . There is also a mini golf course in Sparchen.
