Bratislava trolleybus
The trolleybus Bratislava is the trolleybus system of the Slovak capital Bratislava . It is the oldest and, with a network length of 41.5 kilometers, also the largest in the country. The network was opened on July 31, 1941 as the third modern trolleybus operation in Czechoslovakia - after Prague and Plzeň - and has since supplemented the Bratislava tram, which has existed since 1895 . The trolley bus - as well as the tram and the urban bus service - from municipal transport companies Dopravný podnik Bratislava operated (DPB). Independently of this, the Gleislose Bahn Preßburg – Eisenbrünnl operated in the city from 1909 to 1915 , an early trolleybus operation that was mainly used by day trippers.

Similar to line 64, which opened on March 27, 2012, it replaced part of the shortened bus line 41.
