The Upper Swabian Celtic Road is a holiday route opened in 2014 as a GPS tour in Upper Swabia on the subject of the Celts .

Conception

With the help of GPS coordinates, the route leads to places where remains of the Celtic culture have been found. The route leads to Viereckschanzen , depots and refuges from this time. At each station there is a box containing information on the respective location. In addition, the box contains a description of the culture with a different theme narrated by fictional, Celtic characters. The route begins at the Essen district of Ennetach on the Ennetacher Berg, the site of the former Roman fort , where an archaeological circular route is now located. The end of the route is near Kirchberg an der Iller .
