Oberwintersbach is a hamlet belonging to the municipality of Dammbach in the Lower Franconian district of Aschaffenburg in Bavaria . It is the highest, permanently inhabited place in the Spessart .

Oberwintersbach lies at 521 m above sea level. NHN high mountain Geishöhe , south of Wintersbach , right on the border with the Miltenberg district . In the west, the valley of the Rosselbrunngraben , with the Oberaulenbach Castle , drops off steeply. To the east is Oberkrausenbach . In the southwest and southeast are Wildenstein , Wildenthal and Wildensee .
