Oberzeismering is a district of the municipality of Tutzing in the Upper Bavarian district of Starnberg .
geography
The largest settlement core of the church village is located in an extensive forest clearing, about two kilometers southwest of Tutzing on the eastern slope of the Ilkahöhe , a moraine range of the Würm Glacier . From here you have a wide view of Lake Starnberg and the Alps.
history
Probably first settled by individual farmers in the 6th century, Oberzeismering developed into a farming village in the Middle Ages .
From 1527 the church village belonged to Hofmark Tutzing, which was owned by the patrician family Dichtl from 1519 to 1650 . The Heimhausen and Götzengrien families followed the Dichtl as owners of the Hofmark, before it came to the Counts of Vieregg in 1730 .
In 1752 nine properties are mentioned, eight of the Hofmark Tutzing and one property belonging to the Oberzaismering church were landable. It was not until 1848 that the patrimonial jurisdiction of the Counts of Vieregg was lifted in the course of the March Revolution .
At the end of the 19th century, the Munich Commerce Councilor Max Kustermann bought the town's farms and combined them into one estate. Most of the buildings were demolished, and some were converted into utility buildings. Only three of the original properties remained.
The estate changed hands several times in the 20th century, and the agricultural operation was discontinued in the 1970s.
Attractions
In the church village is the Catholic branch church St. Nikolaus, a late medieval building that was converted to Baroque style in 1723.
