The Obytitschna ( Ukrainian Обитічна ) is the third longest tributary of the Sea of Azov in the Ukrainian Oblast of Zaporizhia .
The river has its source in the Azov highlands west of Smyrnowe ( Смирнове ) and flows from north to south, except for the last 17 km, which it runs parallel to the coast of the Sea of Azov. It flows east of the city of Prymorsk , through which it previously flows, near the village of Preslaw in the Ramsar region of Obytichna Bay of the Sea of Azov .
The Obytitschna has a length of 96.1 km and a catchment area of 1437 km². The main tributaries are: on the right, the 24-kilometer-long Chokrak and the 12-kilometer-long Sassykulak ; on the left is the 70 kilometer long Kiltyschtschja .
