Odessa is a city in Big Stone County in the US state of Minnesota . At the time of the United States Census 2010 , Odessa had 135 inhabitants.

According to the United States Census Bureau , the city has an area of ​​1.94 km², all of which are land. The development is concentrated in the southeast quarter of the city area.

The US Highway 75 and Minnesota State Highway 7 run together along the northern border; the eastern city limit is County Road 19. In the southwest, the city limit runs on the banks of the Minnesota River . A railroad line ( Appleton Subdivision ) of the BNSF Railway runs east-west direction just north of the closed settlement area through the urban area. This route was formerly part of the Pacific Extension of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad .
