Offshore Music is a Swiss record label based in Zurich .
Field of work
Offshore Music LC13481 publishes audio and video recordings (mainly download bundles and singles, but also CDs, previously also vinyls) from the dance, trance , house and pop segments , which are then marketed internationally through various distributors and trading partners. The label belongs to the Swiss music publisher Andy Prinz Publishing, which Sony / ATV Germany has co-published exclusively worldwide since January 2008.
The label works closely with the club scene, DJs and event organizers (e.g. Street Parade ). Furthermore, the label has a higher-level music publisher as well as its own sound studio for music production and audio mastering.
Primarily couplings (compilations) and artist albums (e.g. York, Andy Prinz or Asheni) are published. In addition, Offshore Music also carries out the clearing processes for compilations (licenses, mixing, editing and mastering) for majors, including for the Friends of Street Parade - The Official Compilation 2006 . The in-house producer team also contributed the official anthem called "Move your mind" to this event.
The main artists of the label and publisher include well-known producers such as Torsten Stenzel (York, Sakin & Friends, Asheni), Andy Prinz (Astura, Ayion, DJ Tatana) and Aly & Fila , who have been part of the Armada since March 2010 through a buyout Music family belong. Aly & Fila will continue to be published by Andy Prinz Publishing in collaboration with Sony / ATV.
Singles have only been published digitally since 2008. In the early stages of the label, vinyls were also made and distributed via Music Mail. A number of titles, mainly from Aly & Fila, have also been sub-licensed to labels such as Armada .
The most successful offshore music artists include the Swiss producer and composer Andy Prinz and the Egyptian trance duo Aly & Fila, which reached 31st place in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll in 2008 and 22nd in 2009.
The trance sub-label FSOE Recordings (named after the radio program Future Sound Of Egypt of the same name), founded in 2009, was completely taken over by Armada Music in March 2010.
Since this takeover, Andy Prinz Publishing has concentrated primarily on the publishing activities of existing artists such as Aly & Fila , Akesson, Philippe El Sisi , Pulserockerz and many more, and on new signings. Furthermore, numerous orders are still being carried out for primarily local major companies such as EMI Music etc. This includes masterings, compilings, spot productions and much more.
Offshore Music's newcomers include Glamotronik (with Jill Wick and Devijo), Starseekers, NazB and Pulserockerz.

Company history
Offshore Music (IFPI Code LC 13481) was launched in 2004 by the Swiss music producer Andy Prinz with the help of the DJs Solid Slide and Greenhead.
Even before the label was launched, some artists were able to distinguish themselves through in-house and third-party productions. Music producers like Andy Prinz or Torsten Stenzel have previously produced for major labels like Sony BMG , Warner or Universal and for artists like DJ Tatana , DJ Taucher , Sakin & Friends (hit: "Protect your mind").
The first label release was the CD compilation "World in motion - mixed by Greenhead & Timeok (ZYX), the first single was the vinyl" It's not over "by Diver & Ace. Just one year later, Offshore Music was able to produce the then relatively unknown producer -Duo Aly & Fila from Egypt exclusively. After an extremely successful artist build-up over six years, the trance producers from Cairo were completely taken over by Armada Music through a buy-out (including the sub-label FSOE Recordings).
Offshore Music, primarily under the umbrella company name Andy Prinz Publishing, acts primarily as a global publisher in cooperation with Sony / ATV.
