Kyau & Albert is a trance DJ and producer team from Löbau . With the single "Outside" they were released in 2001 under the title Kyau vs. Albert known, since 2006 they call themselves Kyau & Albert .

The music produced by Kyau & Albert is referred to by many as neotrance, but the term is widely controversial. Together they run the Euphonic label .

Band history

In 1994 Ralph Kyau and Steven Moebius Albert met for the first time. Both had produced music before. In 1996, the first single Let me in was released under the name "Kyau vs. Albert ”published. In 1997 they founded the joint record company Euphonic and signed various artists. In 2002 they achieved their greatest success to date with the single Save me . It reached number 44 in the German sales charts.

After almost a year of work, Kyau vs. Albert in August 2004 in Germany her first album entitled Here We Are Now . In the same year they remixed Jump The Next Train from Young Parisians and landed a club hit worldwide. A year later her album was also released in the USA , Russia and Asia , which of course increased her popularity. In 2006, Kyau vs. Albert released their second album called Worldvibe with the single Are you fine? on the market. From this year the duo was called Kyau & Albert . In 2007 her label Euphonic turned 10 years old. To celebrate the label's success, they started the 10 Years Euphonic Tour. Kyau & Albert are also in close contact with the English trance scene. In the weekly radio show “ Trance around the World ”, or “TATW” for short, they are regularly present with their publications and as guest DJs. The show is presented by the English label Anjunabeats. Together with Above & Beyond , who run this label, Kyau & Albert were represented at the 300th TATW party as support in Moscow.

  • In 2002 Kyau & Albert discovered the Egyptian trance duo Aly & Fila , who are considered to be the pioneers of today's uplifting trance .
