Hagfors is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Värmland County and the historical province of Värmland . The place is the main town of Hagfors municipality and is located on the Uvån River .
The Rally Sweden runs through the area around Hagfors . The service park for the rally is located in the village itself.
history
In 1850 there were around 120 people (19 families) living in what is now Hagfors. In 1876 Hagfors was registered as a place name. From 1940 to 1950 belonged to Hagfors parish Råda. On January 1, 1950, Hagfors became an independent town. In 1974 the city became part of the newly created municipality of Hagfors, along with other places, and Hagfors became the capital.
