Oh Beom-seok ( kor. 오범석 ; born July 29, 1984 in Pohang , Gyeongsangbuk-do ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

He began playing soccer in the Pohang Steelers' junior team and made his first-team debut in the 2003 season. In 2007 he was with the team champions of the K-League and South Korean runner-up cup winner. He spent the following season on loan in the Japanese J. League with the Yokohama F. Marinos . A year later he moved to Russia to Krylya Sovetov Samara , where he stayed for two seasons.

As a player in the South Korean U-20 team , he reached the round of 16 at the 2003 Junior World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. On January 15, 2005, he played his first full international match against Colombia. During the 2007 Asian Football Championship , he established himself on the right wing and ended up with the team in third place.

2010 Oh Beom-seok returned to the South Korean K-League to Ulsan Hyundai Horangi . With the national team he took part in the World Cup in South Africa in the summer of 2010 .
